Keywords

This allows you to enter in a seed keyword and get a whole bunch of keyword ideas. For example, you might enter in the keyword “basketball” and get entries like “basketball hoops”, “basketball training” or “basketball drills”.

You can then use any of these keyword ideas in your searches, which is the main function of the app.

Research

This is the most important part of MyTrafficJacker. Here, you select the website, the keyword, and a few other pieces of information, and then run a search.

MyTrafficJacker then goes out and finds all of the broken links for topics, videos or entries related to that keyword. Most importantly, for each broken link, it lets you know if the domain is currently available to register.

MTJ can also notify you if a domain that was unavailable when you ran the search is now available. This can happen if the website associated with a domain was taken down, but the domain itself hadn’t expired yet.

How do you use MyTrafficJacker 2.0?

The power lies in your ability to redirect these domains to whatever other domain you want.

Here are three of the ways you can use this redirect trick to profit with MTJ:

This is a tough one. I think MTJ Elite will appeal to some people but not to others. If you think you’ll gain good use out of the features, then it’s probably worth getting.

The Negatives

There are a few potential stumbling blocks I see with MyTrafficJacker.

Firstly, even though domain registration is very cheap, you still need to invest every time you pick up an expired domain. These registrations can build up over time and amount to a fairly substantial yearly expense.

Secondly, you have to deal with competition. Other people will be searching for links, possibly in your niche, and you may have a hard time finding domains that are available. I haven’t had much trouble myself, but those in competitive niches might at some point.

Thirdly, there’s always the possibility that the people who manage the pages on these high-authority sites (e.g. video owners, Wikipedia editors) will take the links down. In that case, the authority and traffic will be lost. Thankfully, this seems to be a rare occurrence.
